Rumored to be the keepers of powerful medicine passed down from the mighty ruler, B’alam Nehn, the Water-lily Jaguar, the B’alam Shape-shifters jealously safeguard their secret rites. Camazotz

The utterly terrifying Camazotz, or Death Bat, is a divine creature of nightmares. It rises from the underworld at the behest of Maya priestesses to aid them in war. Silent as the night air, it strikes without warning and those who witness its baleful presence cower in terror as it shreds its victims to tatters.

In the twisting caves below what is now known as Central America lies the fabled Realm of Xibalba, the Place of Fright and underworld of the Maya. It is within Xibalba that the Death Gods of the Maya hold court over the spirits of the dead who must pass through on their way to Tamoanchan. At times, one or more of these dark entities require action to be taken in the earthly realm of men. When this occurs, The Children of Xibalba stalk forth out of the darkness of the underworld to exact swift vengeance on those who have offended their masters. Empowered with supernatural might and mighty enchanted spears with the power to pierce multiple foes with a single attack, The Children of Xibalba are a force to be feared on the battlefield.

The mischievous Alux are small spirits that make the Maya farms and forests their home. Using cunning, trickery and illusion, they harass and frighten enemy invaders until they run screaming for safety. Even the most heavily armed and armored warrior can fall prey to their mind-bending tricks, sowing fear and discord in even the most disciplined.
